I hereby give you notice the SILK WILLOUGHBY EXTRAORDINARY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING will be held on MONDAY 17TH JUNE 2024 at 7.30pm. All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out hereunder.

Public Forum: The Parish Council Meeting will be preceded by a public forum, for which Councillors are also asked to be present, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. Members of the public are welcome to stay for the meeting except for confidential items but may not participate unless invited to do so by the Chair.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION
COUNCIL SESSION
1. To agree the temporary appointment of the minute taker for the meeting.
2. Apologies for Absence: To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.
3. Declarations of Interest: To receive Declarations of Pecuniary Interests of all parish councillors and approval of any dispensations.
4. To resolve to exclude the media, press and members of the public from the meeting in accordance with S.1(2) Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 due to the confidential nature of business to be transacted regarding staffing matters.
5. To discuss the termination of employment for the role of Proper Officer /Clerk / RFO and terms of a confidential Settlement Agreement and approve any payments arising.
6. To agree the appointment of temporary locum arrangements for the role of the Proper Officer / Clerk/ RFO for Silk Willoughby Parish Council.
7. To consider and approve arrangements and payments for the recruitment of Proper Officer/ Clerk/ RFO for Silk Willoughby Parish Council.
