2019 Annual Parish Meeting

MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL PARISH MEETING HELD AT 7.30PM IN THE VILLAGE HALL SILK WILLOUGHBY ON 16 MAY 2019

Present:

Cllr Alan Wilson (Chairman), 8 parishioners, 1 press and Denise Gascoyne Parish Clerk

1.   Welcome by the Chairman: The Chairman Alan Wilson welcomed everyone to the Annual Parish Meeting.

2.   To approve and accept the notes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on 31 May 2018.

It was proposed, seconded and

Resolved: that the notes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on 31 May 2018 be accepted as minutes and signed as a true record.

3.Presentation of Annual Reports:

•   Chairman – The Chairman of Silk Willoughby Parish Council read out his report and a copy are attached to these minutes.
•   County Councillor – County Cllr Andrew Hagues had sent his apologies and there was no report
•   District Councillor – New District Cllr Russell Jackson had sent his apologies and there was no report.

4.Financial Report from Responsible Finance Officer 2018/2019:

The Responsible Finance Officer read out her report and a copy of this is attached to these minutes.

5.Questions from the Public:

A member of the public questioned the duplicate payment from HMRC. The Responsible Finance Officer said it wasn’t hidden in the accounts and it was felt it was their responsibility to request it back from the parish council.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 7.40pm
